Our studio’s creative vision is inspired by ... a creative use of natural light as well as an artistic and practical focus on composition. The intent of every commission is to document our clients’ lives in a unique fashion, while preserving the artistic integrity of the studio. Our studio offers a friendly professional demeanor so that we can closely work with our subjects and capture intimate moments unobtrusively. We are a boutique style studio providing incredible and timeless photographs. Photography is not just our business but our passion. Our studio is unique and rich in its creative vision and spontaneous ability to capture art as it unfolds. We strive to create a positive and open working relationship with every commission ensuring that the end result will exceed all expectations.

As a small business, we are able to build relationships with our clients and offer personal attention. Custom photography is an investment, not only financially, but in emotion, time and the pleasure you will derive from your photographs for many years to come.

We are a husband and wife team, Kat the photographer and Drew Heidrich the studio’s main designer/studio manager. We have a phenomenal reputation and have been in business for over 20years! We have our history in film and we bring that to the new era of digital photography. Our mutual passion for art and our natural ability to work together has brought a fresh new perspective to our portrait and event photography.

Having your portraits taken, even when they’re candid and natural, takes some planning and collaboration to get the best results. It is best for us to know what type of photographs are your preference (straightforward, artistic, etc). If you have a specific idea for a photograph let us know, because I can then aim for it at the sitting, and then help you with the display of it in the design process. Natural, genuine expressions are what Kat looks for in an image: a smile, giggles, the faraway stare, and most importantly the occasional frown. Natural light is preferred, whether it be light from a window, a shaded patio, an overcast sky or sunset.
